Leading Hand Carpenter/Carpenter/Apprentice - Residential & Commercial

Spencer Constructions (Qld) Pty Ltd is an established residential and commercial building company based in North Brisbane. We are a custom builder with a focus on architecturally designed new homes, renovations and extensions, as well as commercial projects such as childcare & retail centres, office refits & warehouses etc. We also construct and install modular buildings. Currently, our projects range in size up to $4 million and are positioned across Brisbane and SE Qld.

Due to a depth of project work booked in, we are now seeking further experienced and qualified tradespeople to join our team.

Roles

  • L/H Carpenter/Carpenter/Apprentice roles within our Residential and Commercial divisions are on offer
  • 40 hours/wk (Monday-Friday 6.30am-3.30pm) plus regular O/T and RDO opportunities
  • Full-time, permanent positions (with initial 3 month probationary period) or contract ABN positions on offer

Requirements

  • L/H Carpenter- Fully qualified with a minimum of 3+ years carpentry experience (post apprenticeship) plus 12 months or more in L/H role; Own tools, current Australian driver's licence and suitable vehicle
  • Carpenter- Fully qualified with a minimum of 2+ years carpentry experience (post apprenticeship); own tools, current Australian driver's licence and suitable vehicle
  • Apprentice- Basic construction workplace experience desirable, basic tools, current Australian driver's licence and suitable vehicle
  • Ability to take direction, give direction, mentor and work as part of a team
  • Good communication, 'can do' attitude and personal presentation
  • Exceptional level of work quality and problem-solving skills
  • High level of energy, personal productivity and self-motivation
  • Eagerness to learn new knowledge & skills
