Position Overview:

As a Carpenter at Innovative Design and Build Group, you will play a vital role in our luxury residential projects. Your expertise and dedication to delivering superior craftsmanship will be instrumental in creating breathtaking homes that stand as a testament to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effortlessly with fellow carpenters and apprentices, sharing expertise and guidance to help develop younger crew members—while consistently delivering top-quality craftsmanship.
  • Execute carpentry tasks with precision, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, flooring, and custom woodwork.
  • Interpret and follow architectural plans, Engineering, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of carpentry work.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team, including Lead carpenters, Constructions manager, site supervisors, director and subcontractors, to ensure seamless coordination and successful project completion.
  • Adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in managing materials, tools, and equipment required for carpentry work.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot any issues, and proactively communicate with Construction Team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping the job site tidy and safe.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience or enthusiastic approach to being a Carpenter, with a focus on luxury residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, engineering, and specifications accurately.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the project team.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Trade qualification in carpentry or a related field is desirable.
