360 Personnel are seeking a HR Manager to join our team, based in Southwest Sydney.  This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on HR support to our leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.  As the primary contact, you'll oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and compliance.  This role is ideal for a HR Professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys helping Senior Management navigate everyday people matters with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide generalist HR support including performance management, recruitment, employment conditions, grievance resolution and any other queries.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, variations, and performance-related documentation.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job ads, shortlisting, interviews, and pre-employment background checks.
  • Maintain and update position descriptions to reflect current roles.
  • Advise on workplace issues in line with employment legislation and company values.
  • Deliver presentations to staff such as introduction of new or updated policies.
  • Support performance management processes and attend formal discussions as needed.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding, including HR inductions, exit interviews and redundancy coordination.
  • Assist with remuneration reviews and prepare related documentation.
  • Manage workers compensation claims and return-to-work plans.
  • Provide accurate general HR advice to all Directors, Regional Managers and staff.
  • Support HR projects and business initiatives as directed by Senior Management.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes and confidentiality standards.
  • Ensure all employees hold the required Qualifications, Registrations, Training and Certificates as required.
  • Process visa applications and transfers, including permanent residency.
  • Develop and implement people and retention strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Support the delivery of other HR and business initiatives as directed by the Directors.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' HR experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role (e.g., HR Manager or Senior Business Partner)
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and relevant industry awards.
  • Recognised for being approachable, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Confident working independently and trusted by senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
