As we scale toward our goal of certifying 1M+ professionals by 2027, we're seeking a passionate HR Manager who will own and evolve the end-to-end HR function across the Group, partnering with leadership, strengthening compliance, and embedding initiatives that help our people and culture thrive.
What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things HR at CHG: managing compliance, recruitment, and culture initiatives while shaping HR processes that support a 100% remote workforce and enable business growth.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Interpret and apply modern awards and Fair Work regulations
- Manage contracts, variations, performance management initiatives and WHS processes
- Manage HRIS (Employment Hero) for onboarding, offboarding and record-keeping
- Ensure best practice for a remote-first workforce, including digital-first onboarding and WHS processes
- Develop, execute and maintain HR policies and procedures
Talent
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across job ads, interviews, offers, and onboarding
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession strategies, and talent pipeline initiatives
- Support leadership capability through tailored development and coaching initiatives
Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Partnership
- Introduce and refine people metrics, providing leadership with actionable HR data dashboards
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align people strategy with business goals
- Provide strategic HR advice on compliance, talent management and cultural priorities
- Influence decision-making with data-driven insights and recommendations
- Champion innovation and process improvements by exploring digital tools and AI
People, Culture & Engagement
- Partner with managers on team structures, role scoping and performance issues
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, organisational change, and team transitions
- Use and improve our monthly review processes to drive improvements across the business
- Deliver HR reporting that influences decisions and demonstrates impact
- Drive engagement initiatives that suit a geographically dispersed, remote workforce
- 3–5 years' experience in an HR Advisor/Manager role with broad generalist exposure.
- Proven ability to build HR processes from the ground up.
- Formal qualification in Human Resources (degree, diploma, or certificate) preferred, or equivalent experience
- Comfortable using HRIS platforms (Employment Hero experience ideal) and focussed on using digital tools, including AI
- Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams, influence stakeholders and partner with leadership
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with a balance of compliance and culture.
