Do you love creating food that becomes part of an unforgettable night out? We're looking for a talented chef to join our kitchen team at The Fox Hole — a cocktail bar and dining space in the heart of The Rocks, just minutes from Circular Quay.

We've just moved into a custom-built venue and are growing our team as we write the next chapter in our story.

The kitchen team is led by our Head Chef who has Michelin Star & Hatted Restaurant experience.

The Role

Reporting to our Head Chef, you'll be hands-on in the kitchen — from Gin & Tea afternoons to busy bar service and multi-course dinners. Depending on your experience, this role can be shaped as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running your section and delivering consistent, high-quality food.
  • Supporting menu development and prep schedules.
  • Leading and guiding junior staff during service.
  • Managing stock, wastage, and kitchen organisation.
  • Keeping food safety and cleanliness standards at their best.
