National Dental Care is an Australia-wide network of dental practices committed to changing the way Australians feel about going to the dentist. Our goal is to set the benchmark in providing patients with the best available oral health services in the country. Our dental teams are highly qualified and experienced, our practices relaxed and professional, and we boast the latest in dental equipment and technology.

Founded in 2013, National Dental Care started with just four practices located in Brisbane. Over the last seven years, we've grown to over 70 practices throughout Australia, including the acquisition of Western Australian based DB Dental, and we are now one of the largest providers of dental services in Australia with a nationwide network of modern dental practices.

Your new role

As the Practice Development Manager you will be commercially minded and responsible for a cohort of practices located across SA (South Australia) andNT(The Northern Territory). You will oversee the operational management of these practices and act as a trusted business advisor between Practice Managers, Lead Dentists, Support Office and all relevant internal stakeholders.

You will plan and implement business strategies and activities to achieve sales, business growth and also form key relationships with Dentists, Practice Managers, and other Practice staff.

What you'll need to succeed

Your role will focus on the formation and achievement of business goals, revenue generation against agreed budgets, productivity and efficiency measures and the overall profitability of the practice. You will also monitor, and measure agreed key performance metrics inclusive of the following:

  • relationship management at practice and corporate level
  • previous multisite management experience
  • financial performance and EBITDA against budget
  • project and change management initiatives
  • implementation of best practice processes
  • identify and grow new business opportunities in the practice
  • coaching and mentoring practice staff to achieve organic growth

To be considered, you will bring:

  • A background in dental, healthcare, or science, with a proven track record of success in your field
  • Experience managing or overseeing operations across multiple sites or locations
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in team leadership, performance management, and coaching to support professional development
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A sound understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements relevant to the healthcare or dental sector
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

This role will require you to be on the road visiting sites. The ability to travel, including your own vehicle and a valid driver's licence is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
