Practice Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and responsible Practice Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate and enjoys the challenges and responsibility of working within a very fast paced specialist clinical environment.

IVFAustralia is a leading provider of fertility services, providing the highest possible standard of fertility treatment in a compassionate and personalised environment. With a large group of medical specialists, scientists, nurses and counsellors leading the delivery of advanced scientific technology, we are caring for an increasing number of patients.

The role is a full time position of 38 hours per week. The clinic is located in the Sydney CBD with good access to public transport by train and bus.

The successful applicant will be responsible for our patients' overall experience and smooth functioning of the IVF clinic, ensuring that the highest possible quality service is provided from the administration team.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience Practice management
  • Skilled in onboarding, training, and supporting new staff with strong leadership abilities
  • Adept at monitoring front desk operations and resolving customer queries promptly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction at all levels
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with high attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Extensive experience in busy clinic environments
  • Knowledgeable in processing Health Fund and Medicare claims
  • Proficient in using appointment booking systems
  • Experienced in preparing fee estimates and explaining financial outcomes to patients
  • Competent in managing financial administration tasks, including banking, reconciliation, refunds, and payments
  • Skilled in scanning and managing electronic medical records
  • Background in medical administration or secretarial roles, with experience in fertility or healthcare as an advantage
  • Warm, patient-focused communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and capable of working independently
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in caring, supportive work environments
