Our team of highly skilled eye specialists and dedicated support staff are committed to providing exceptional patient care, as well as driving innovation in the field of ophthalmology.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Korean-speaking Medical Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to transition and stay on as casual or part-time. This role will be available in January 2026, with training in prior months.

In this essential role, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our busy ophthalmology practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, assisting with everything from scheduling appointments to managing inquiries, and supporting our clinical team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greeting & Welcoming Patients: Deliver a warm and professional welcome to patients upon arrival.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently manage patient appointments and coordinate schedules.
  • Handling Inquiries & Bookings: Answer patient questions and assist with booking procedures.
  • Managing Patient Records: Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records.
  • Invoicing & Claims: Assist with the preparation of invoices, processing payments, and handling Medicare claims.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to our clinical team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and empathetic approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in medical practice management software and MS Office suite.
  • Korean-speaking.
  • Availability to work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
