About The Opportunity
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and love providing exceptional customer service? Our Medical Reception team in Bowral support a wide variety of patients, speak with our doctors and referrers over the phone, as well as manage phone and computer bookings.

Due to parental leave in our team, we are currently seeking a dedicated
Medical Receptionist
to join our clinic on a
12-month parental leave contract, on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE)
This position is eligible for extension or permanent conversion based on business requirements.

The ideal candidate will be available
**Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Working hours are between 7:00am and 8:00pm.**
Additional weekday hours or weekend overtime may also be available once trained.

As a Medical Receptionist, You Will

  • Be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries.
  • Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing.
  • Operate our booking system efficiently.
  • Assist with back-office activities, including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting as directed by your manager.

About You
In addition to your passion for excellent customer service and organisational skills, you will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to patient care.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks while maintaining timely service.
  • Adaptability to various databases and systems.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
