Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist

As Compliance and Quality Assurance specialist, you will play a vital role in strengthening child safety and quality outcomes across a growing network of early learning centres.
This position supports compliance with regulatory standards, leads investigations, and partners with campus leaders to ensure best practice across all services. A mix of operational oversight and advisory work, this role will make a genuine impact on quality, safety and compliance across multiple locations.
What's in it for you?
- Salary of $110,000-$120,000 + super;

- Report to the Head of Compliance but operate with a high level of autonomy day to day;
- Hybrid working work with 2 days a week working from home;
- Spend the rest of your week between the office and multiple campus locations in NSW;
- Occasional interstate travel to build relationships with key stakeholders in VIC and QLD; and
- Collaborate with passionate leaders who value quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
What is the role?
- Lead and support investigations into incidents, complaints and regulatory matters across multiple campuses;
- Partner with Campus Directors to identify and implement corrective actions following audits, incidents or compliance reviews;
- Monitor adherence to child safety, quality and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and standards;
- Support campuses in managing child protection matters, including mandatory reporting and escalation processes;
- Contribute to the embedding of Child Safe Standards across the organisation;
- Conduct campus quality reviews and provide practical feedback to improve performance;
- Provide advice and resources to strengthen understanding of compliance, child safety and best practice;
- Collaborate with regional and national teams to review and enhance policies and procedures;
- Deliver workshops and training through internal learning programs to support continuous improvement; and
- Travel to campuses across NSW, QLD and VIC as required to provide on-site guidance, assessments and support
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, audit or regulatory roles;
- Experience in early childhood education, aged care, NDIS, healthcare or the school system would be an advantage;
- Ability to manage your time effectively and work across multiple priorities;
- A skilled communicator with confidence handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy; and
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office and preparing accurate reports.
