ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to growth within our team, we are opening our doors to welcome a new team member. We are looking for a Retail BDM based in Melbourne.

This is a pivotal role in our company, to deliver excellent outcomes for our Retail Partners and consumers. The BDM plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the organisation. Your experience will span across the full sales cycle to identify and capture new business opportunities within your dedicated territory.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

In this role your responsibilities will be to:

·      Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients and stakeholders.

·      Ownership of business plan and execution on the ground.

·      Develop and implement retail sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

·      Meeting business goals in an intense, rapidly changing and quarterly driven environment.

·      Design a strategy to tap the full potential of retail clients.

·      Assist in Introducing and implementing new product categories and key-Initiatives to new and current channels.

·      Develop business by identifying cross & up-selling opportunity within key channels & customer portfolios.

·      Maintain an accurate and updated business plan with all relevant figures and activities per channel per account.

·      Set up regular product trainings for all relevant stakeholders.

·      Deliver timely weekly activity report including implemented and planned activities, turnover overview vs. budget and next week objectives.

·      Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to launch new products and retail campaigns.

·      Monitor store performance and provide insights to improve foot traffic and sales.

·      Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular reports for senior management.

Key Qualifications:

If you are a self-starter with natural flair for sales, pls continue to read, ideally in the role we require:

·      Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or similar role in the retail industry.

·      Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer buying behaviours.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

·      Commercial mindset with the ability to spot growth opportunities.

·      Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.

·      Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and retail analytics tools.
