The Opportunity
We're seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to support our expanding operations. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow in the construction industry while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the success of diverse projects.
Working closely with the senior BDM, estimators, and project teams, you'll learn how to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and assist with tender submissions—all while gaining hands-on exposure to the full business development cycle.

Key Responsibilities
Support senior BDM in developing sales strategies and identifying new opportunities
Attend site inspections, review plans, and prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Collaborate with project teams to document construction methodologies and pricing
- Oversee preparation of proposals for government, insurance, and private sector clients
- Lead and mentor the estimating team to improve conversion rates and project acquisition
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business development
- Manage the end-to-end tender process, including variations and post-submission clarifications
- Provide regular updates and sales performance reports to executive leadership
About You
You are a confident communicator with a strong background in estimating and business development within the civil or commercial construction sectors. You're proactive, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
What You'll Bring
- 3-4 years of experiences in estimating, sales, or business development in construction or civil industries
- Proven experience securing and pricing government tender or tier 2 projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, tendering processes, and project delivery cycles
- Ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
