Warehousing / Sales Support for Edge Protection

Australian Scaffolds & Access Pty Ltd is a national company founded in 1997 by CEO Scott Butlin focusing on eliminating risks associated with working at heights through intelligent design and safer work practices across all industries.

Our vision is for more construction people to work safer, faster and smarter than ever thought possible by providing safer, more productive and efficient working at-height solutions delivered with exceptional customer service.

To achieve this vision we have designed and manufactured a proprietary range of products for edge protection and scaffolding that exceeds the Australia Safety Standards.

Following steady growth of our edge protection products, to better support the client base in Melbourne late in 2024 we opened a local VIC office and warehouse in Keilor East .

Starting then with a full-time local salesperson we are now ready for a second team member either full or part-time to manage shipment and delivery of orders dispatched from our Sydney warehouse and engage with our Melbourne clients or prospects.

THIS IS A UNIQUE DUAL ROLE

This role is firstly responsible for all aspects of managing product fulfilment to Victorian clients. This is does include some of the usual warehouse tasks like receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching our edge protection products.  

Then , just as importantly for  20-30% of your week, you will involved directly in the sales process including answering client enquiries and responding to walk-ins during peak periods and when the salesperson is off site.

Reflecting the dual role in addition to a base hourly rate your package will include, a bonus system for meeting warehousing KPI's for delivery and customer service as well as commission on sales. 

As we continue to grow it will be your choice to stay in this dual role, move fully into selling, or become our full time warehouse manager.

Full training and support

As this is an entry level role we will teach you every aspect of the role. This includes technical training for the BUTLIN Guardrail edge protection product range, our administrative systems and the art and science of selling.

We will bring you up to Sydney for parts of this training  and to see the bigger team in action.

Our success has been built on our people, and we never take this for granted, so after the initial training to get you functional, we will send you to external courses for both selling and personal development to support your ongoing success.
