Receptionist

We've partnered with a leading private property development and investment group known for delivering design-led residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across Australia. The team is sharp, grounded, and genuinely invested in what they build, with a strong pipeline ahead and a high-performing leadership group at the helm.
This privately owned firm operates from a new architect-designed CBD headquarters that fosters a close-knit, transparent, and collaborative culture. With leadership working side-by-side with staff, they achieve rapid decision-making and visible results, avoiding the typical corporate bureaucracy.
About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face and key organiser of our office. This is a crucial role within a supportive, highly collaborative environment that offers variety in your day-to-day.
This position is the heart of the Sydney Head Office, responsible for making a fantastic first impression on all clients, visitors, and stakeholders. It's not a high-pressure environment; the focus is on being proactive and meticulous in managing both administrative duties and the presentation of the executive office space. This is a highly varied role where you get ownership of the front-of-house function and exposure to other areas of the business operations. Due to the previous receptionist getting promoted this role is now open for the next person to make it their own.
What you'll be doing:
Warmly greet and assist all visitors and clients, making sure every guest receives a high-quality and positive experience.
Own the seamless daily function of the office by ensuring reception, the office, and meeting rooms are immaculate, tidy, and fully stocked.
Manage professional communications such as incoming calls, taking messages, and handling mail (in/out).
Provide essential administrative help to the Executive Assistant and wider team (filing, copying, and errands).
This role is for you if:
You're a natural relationship-builder with a warm and professional demeanor.
You're proactive and highly organised, with a keen eye for detail.
You're a true team player who is happy to jump in and help wherever needed.
You prefer a high-volume, fast-paced call-centre or transactional reception desk environment.
You are not motivated by taking on broad administrative duties and gaining exposure to varied business functions.
Why you'll love working here:
Beautiful office above Wynyard Station with high-end fit-out
Chef-cooked lunches every Tuesday and Thursday
Inclusive, high-performing team with strong values and low turnover
Salary circa $65k + Superannuation + bonus
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other folks in minority groups tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
Ready to Apply? If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you
Apply now or reach out to Fulcrum for a confidential chat — we're managing this process on behalf of the client and can share more about the team, expectations, and next steps.
