We are assisting our prominent architecture and interior design client in recruiting a Receptionist to join their Sydney studio. The studio brings together a diverse team of creatives, united by a passion for meaningful and engaging design.

The Role

This is a key front-of-house position, ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organised, and confident in managing a dynamic studio environment. The Receptionist will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Responsibilities


• Provide administrative support to maintain efficient studio operations


• Greet clients and visitors, delivering a professional and warm first impression


• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the studio space


• Manage incoming calls and general enquiries


• Coordinate mail, courier services, and deliveries


• Keep kitchen and communal areas tidy and well-stocked


• Organise meeting rooms, travel arrangements, catering, and office supplies


• Assist with internal events and corporate functions


• Support the Principal with business and personal commitments


• Carry out ad hoc tasks to support studio needs

Essential Skills


• Strong verbal and written communication


• Impeccable personal presentation

• Excellent customer service orientation


• Energetic and self-motivated

Preferred Experience


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel


• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite


• Prior experience working in an architecture or design practise is essential


• Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
