Are you passionate about inventory management and compliance? Officeworks is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Inventory Lead to oversee and control inventory across our supply chain in across WA and NT]. This role will champion Inventory Records Accuracy (IRA) and robust inventory control processes to guarantee physical inventory availability at all times.

This key role is responsible for overseeing inventory management and integrity at Officeworks and Logistics Partner sites (1-3), ensuring all processes align with Officeworks' standards in addition to compliance and operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manage and control inventory across the supply chain ensuring Inventory Records Accuracy (IRA) and ensure inventory control processes are implemented and in place.
  • Promotes a proactive safety culture and ensures compliance with OH&S and CoR frameworks
  • Ensures timely, accurate reporting of inventory KPIs, conducting of thorough inventory variance investigations, providing analysis with recommendations for improvement.
  • Drives financial and operational efficiency through data-driven analysis, labour management, and adherence to budgetary and rostering guidelines.
  • Train, guide and support your team to achieve their best. Maintain and build strong relationships with 3pl's and stores from an inventory perspective.

About You
As the Inventory Team Leader, you will champion stock integrity, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies. Your focus will be on optimising inventory flow, enhancing system accuracy, and supporting supply chain efficiency. You will collaborate closely with warehouse operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless inventory control and adherence to compliance protocols.

You are a highly organised and detail-driven Inventory Team Leader with a passion for precision and control in inventory management. In this critical role within our fast-paced Distribution Centre (DC), you will take ownership of inventory accuracy, compliance with operational standards, and continuous improvement across all inventory-related processes.

With a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, your commitment to compliance and operational excellence will be key to maintaining a high-performing inventory environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in inventory management within a Distribution Centre or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and reporting tools.
  • Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
