We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise our client's supply chain operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies, managing contracts, procurement systems and process and leading a dynamic team across various sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead the supply chain team to deliver exceptional service and value to internal customers.
- Implement efficient supply chain processes within the ERP system to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to drive strategic decisions and procedural improvements.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with suppliers to unlock value-added opportunities.
- Oversee competitive tendering processes and negotiate advantageous agreements.
- Take charge of supply chain management, including category management and logistics coordination.
- Optimise inventory management and procurement practices.
- Provide oversight of warehouse operations, logistics networks, and risk assessment.
- Champion ethical sourcing practices and indigenous supply capabilities.
- Maintain and advance ERP (SAP S4Hana) systems for streamlined operations.
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and reports to Senior Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Logistics, Contracts, or Supply Chain.
- CIPS qualification highly regarded.
- Significant experience in Contracts/Procurement/Purchasing, within a leadership role.
- Extensive experience within Mining, Construction, Manufacturing, or related sectors
- Demonstrated success in engaging with senior stakeholders and executives.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP/ S4 Hana, highly regarded
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities effectively.
