Haileybury is looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities Officer to join our City Campus team.
This full-time, ongoing role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of our multi-level, high-rise campus. You will provide hands-on support for school events, manage deliveries, and carry out general maintenance tasks, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for staff and students. Flexibility in working hours is essential to support school events and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for school events and activities, including setup and pack down, deliver day-to-day campus assistance, and complete maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard.
- Promote a safe campus environment by adhering to OHS requirements, conducting risk assessments, and following school compliance protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate flexibly with the Facilities team, support school-wide events, and engage respectfully with staff, students, contractors, and the wider Haileybury community.
About you
As the Facilities Officer, you will:
- Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and stakeholders, following directions and fostering positive relationships.
- Be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and committed to OHS and child safety, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
