Reporting to the Commercial Manager, an exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the Oaky Creek Coal team on an 18-month fixed term basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying, assessing, and engaging reliable suppliers to meet business requirements.
• Managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including drafting contracts, issuing requests for tender, conducting tender evaluations, and undertaking contract negotiations.
• Drafting and obtaining approval for contract proposals that capture supplier offers and negotiated terms and demonstrate alignment with business objectives.
• Monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Drafting professional contractual correspondence to ensure effective communication with vendors and stakeholders.
• Conducting market research and analysing industry trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Driving cost savings and process improvements while maintaining strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.

You will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within mining or heavy industry.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (logistics, law, engineering) is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to practice and promote safe work behaviours.
• Positive visible leadership and an ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A high level of attention to detail and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
