The Role:

We are seeking a Mackay based Project Controls Administrator to support the Commercial Controller QLD and Operations Team with the primary purpose of providing administrative, accounts receivable and cost control support to the operational areas of the business.

Responsibilities include;

  • Compilation of invoices and corresponding contract assessments for projects on an on-going and stand-alone basis
  • Data entry of invoices into SAP
  • Submission of invoices to customers
  • Updating WIP on a weekly basis and provide revenue accruals monthly, including escalation where required
  • Monitoring cash flow and reporting on unconfirmed and overdue payments on a weekly basis
  • Understand basics of EA and client contracts to support control's function.
  • Supporting operations in the use of SAP including the creation of job numbers, raising purchase orders, approving supplier invoices, reviewing pending costs and tracking equipment allocation to and from projects
  • General administration

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years in project administration or similar role
  • Previous experience in industrial, construction, or resources sectors preferred
  • Background in accounts receivable or financial administration
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in SAP or equivalent large ERP advantageous

Work Eligibility:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or valid work visa
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and background checks
