About this Opportunity

McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Administrator to join our team in Gladstone, Qld, working Monday to Friday.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration activities for the workshop and engaging with workshop leaders and other key stakeholders to achieve business goals. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

This position is responsible for:

  • Processing timesheets
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Processing invoices
  • Processing daily activity sheets / work orders
  • Establishing, controlling and maintaining effective filing systems and records
  • Data entry
  • General administration duties for the workshop team
  • Other relevant duties as may be required from time to time.

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in administration
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence
  • Construction Card (white card)
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office and Adobe systems
  • Experience providing efficient administration support to leaders and teams
  • Capable of working effectively within established systems and procedures
  • Able to input data and maintain accurate records within set timeframes
  • Able to produce and maintain documentation with high accuracy
  • Knowledge of the civil construction industry (desirable).
