We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative & Bookkeeping Officer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers flexibility across the workweek and is ideal for someone with a strong background in real estate administration and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team and general office operations.
- Manage the motor vehicle database, ensuring all registrations and insurance policies are current.
- Liaise with clients and the general public, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Review and collate bills and expenses for approval.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Group CFO and external accountants to ensure timely submission of monthly BAS statements.
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Process invoicing and job costing.
- Handle GST reporting and compliance.
- Generate financial reports as required.
- Use MYOB for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a real estate office, particularly supporting sales teams.
- Strong understanding of real estate administration processes.
- Proficiency in MYOB is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude and a "can-do" approach to work.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with compliance and reporting deadlines (e.g., BAS).
