About the Role

This role is focused on driving growth in the automotive sector, with a particular emphasis on partnering with OEM clients to deliver innovative solutions tailored to their needs.

You will represent EGR in the global market, showcasing our automotive accessories, building and maintaining long-term relationships with automotive OEM's and stakeholders through aligning your technical expertise with their needs.

You will work hand in hand with our product development team and our suppliers to research, design, engineer, manufacture and deliver to the needs of our customers.  Through your outstanding communication you will source quotes, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with global suppliers to deliver solutions that meet all needs.

This role will require extensive international travel throughout the globe on a regular basis.

About you

Your background and qualifications in mechanical engineering will be highly regarded in this role.

As the successful candidate you will have a proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within the automotive industry, and the ability to combine technical engineering expertise with commercial insight to be the solutions provider to the global automotive market.

You are able to demonstrate results through building relationships and become a trusted partner on a global scale.

You thrive on drawing on your technical skills, knowledge and experience to provide practical and commercial solutions to any customer.

You have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry from both an OEM and a customer perspective, which gives you insight into the solutions our OEM's are seeking.

You are flexible and adaptable to any environment, commercially astute, love a challenge and motivated to achieve in every way for yourself and the organisation.
