Jason Windows employs around 340 employees, operates out of our purpose-built premises in Welshpool and has an office in Bunbury supporting the South-West region. It is widely recognised for its premium aluminium window and door products in the WA market.

About the role

This role will work mostly in our Accounts Payable function whilst being tasked with processing our weekly Payroll for our employees. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and working closely with vendors, customers, and internal departments. This is a key role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our operations.

What you'll do

Accounts Payable

  • Timely and accurate processing of all supplier and subcontractor invoices.
  • Processing weekly and month end payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all supplier monthly reconciliations are performed prior to paying suppliers on due date.
  • Receive and respond to all supplier and internal queries regarding payments and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and process supplier credit applications and supplier onboarding
  • Assist with managing credit card expenses
  • Assist with managing fixed assets and reconciliation

Payroll:

  • Processing of weekly payroll
  • Manage all payroll related records and documents
  • Reconciliation and lodgement of weekly superannuation payment
  • Preparation of monthly payroll deduction payments (child support, worker's union)
  • Preparation of monthly payroll tax lodgement
  • Quarterly lodgement of MyLeave portable long service leave scheme
  • Reconciliation and lodgement of workers compensation and insurance claims
  • Preparation of Payroll year end reconciliation and rolling
  • Effectively communicate with employees and managers regarding all payroll queries and issues.

General Duties:

  • Assisting with Accounts Receivable function as required (Debt collections and customer credit applications)
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting
  • Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Support audits and other financial processes as needed

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar role is great, but full training will be provided
  • Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
