About The Role
In this field-based position, you'll work closely with a highly skilled team, supported by dedicated lead generation and cross-functional resources. As our IT Business Development Manager at CBS, you will take ownership of driving growth and building strong client relationships by:
- Achieving your gross profit sales targets and meeting agreed KPIs.
- Prospecting and securing new business opportunities within our defined 'ideal customer' segment.
- Managing and advancing your sales pipeline to convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Designing and executing strategic sales plans to meet revenue objectives.
- Demonstrating a strong commercial and technical understanding of Microsoft products and services, communicating value effectively to a diverse customer base.
- Delivering the full sales cycle with professionalism and efficiency—including prospecting, client meetings, qualification, presentations, quoting, and proposal submissions.
About You
You're a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strong relationships and delivering high-value IT solutions. With a proven track record in business development, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by the challenge of driving growth. Your ability to understand complex IT landscapes, combined with exceptional communication and networking skills, allows you to create innovative solutions that deliver real impact for clients.

- Strong Communication Skills: Capable of engaging with C-level clients at nationally recognised organisations.
- IT Expertise: Your past exposure to enterprise IT gives you a deep understanding of its sales cycles and the ability to create compelling solutions in order to help clients optimise, automate, and transform their IT infrastructures.

- Sales Savvy: An excellent grasp of the sales process, objectives, and outcomes.
