The Opportunity
You are an experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge working for a specialist surgery practice with a strong focus on patient care and service.
- Plastic Surgery practice Mosman and Bondi Junction
- Work 2 days per week
The Practice
Our practice is a renowned, highly sought after plastic surgery practice with rooms in both Mosman and Bondi Junction. The practice consists of a Principal surgeon, Associate surgeon, administration and clinical staff. The practice encompasses services in breast and body surgery, skin cancer treatment and paediatric surgery.
The medical software used is Genie and it is a paperless environment.

About You:

The duties and responsibilities are:-
Governance:
· Develop & coordinate the governance for the Practice
· Ensure roles are clearly documented
· Develop & manage meeting schedule to meet the needs of the practice
· Ensure that appropriate documentation is done- Agendas, minutes etc
· Ensure all statutory Records are kept & maintained – ASIC, Department of Fair Trading, APHRA, Medicare, Certificate of Currency for all insurances.
Financial Management:
· Support the Principle in developing & implementing a Business Strategy/Plan & Financial Budget.
· Liaise with Bookkeeper re payroll/wages & salaries, accounts payable and practice income to set up and monitor KPI's for the practice performance.
· Report on financial performance of the practice and provide data on opportunities to improve outcomes.
Staff Management:
· Coordinate the rosters of the staff to provide the highest level of service to the doctors and patients within the salary budget.
· Coordinate the recruitment of the staff in the practice.
· Update and monitor staff leave policies & coordinate cover for leave.
· Update policy and procedure manuals for the administration and business components of the practice.
· Undertake staff performance reviews on a regular basis to ensure maximum efficiency and excellent service.
· Address issues of poor staff performance appropriately, recording and maintaining appropriate documentation.
· Ensure appropriate OH&S standards are maintained in the practice.
Your Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-
- Sound Knowledge and experience (min 3 Yrs) in Business development and Management.
- Computer Literate & essential skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Personal presentation to be impeccable within the workplace.
- You are passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service
- A high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work
- A brilliant administrator with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to work well independently, but also as part of a team
- A high level of numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy being part of a professional, happy and dynamic team
- Maintain strict practice and patient confidentiality at all times
