Situated on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Elanora Country Club is an exclusive Members' Club established in 1928. The Club features an 18-hole golf course, a range of first-class sporting facilities, and private accommodations, for the enjoyment of the Club's members, their guests, and reciprocal Club members.
About the Role:
This part-time position reports in to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the end to end payroll for approximately 70 employees and the accounts receivable function for member accounts, payments and processing.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Set up of new employees and oversight of employee documentation using the Access Wage easy payroll system
- Processing the weekly payroll inclusive of leave, superannuation, payroll tax, journals and bank reconciliations
- Responding to employee and Member queries
- Receipting member payments, together with subscription billings
- Management and reporting on Bank reconciliations and credit cards
- Maintaining databases and tracking important deadlines
About you:
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Solid experience with payroll systems
- An extensive background in Book-keeping
- A passion for providing excellent customer service, displaying an enthusiastic can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly competent with systems such as Microsoft word, excel etc, plus solid experience with Member data bases, payroll and accounting systems and is comfortable learning new technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret awards and an understanding of the Clubs Award is an advantage.
