About Us:
Tarator is a newly opened restaurant and bar, known for its diverse menu that includes coffee, sandwiches, pizzas, and a la carte dining. We're passionate about providing exceptional food and service to our customers. We are now seeking a talented and experienced Chef with a background in a la carte dining to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes from our a la carte menu
 - Ensure all meals are presented to the highest standard and meet customer expectations
 - Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and create new menu items and seasonal specials
 - Manage food preparation, portion control, and waste management to maintain kitchen efficiency
 - Ensure all kitchen stations are clean and follow food safety and hygiene protocols
 - Manage and train junior kitchen staff as needed
 - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during busy shifts
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, a la carte restaurant environment
 - Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
 - Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
 - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 - Weekend availability is a must.
 - A passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to quality
