The role of Project Manager Includes:
- Coordinate site operations and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring works are delivered within scope.
- Manage procurement of tools, equipment, consumables, and oversee vehicle/asset maintenance.
- Supervise strip-out staff, monitoring well-being, safety, and performance.
- Review and approve timesheets to ensure payroll accuracy and project schedule compliance.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving project issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and compliance records.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years work experience in strip out demolition and Non Friable Asbestos Removal Class B
- Demonstrated experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in construction or demolition.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in project reporting and documentation systems.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Drivers Licence
White Card
Asbestos Class B Non Friable Removal Ticket
First Aid Certificate
Knowledge:
Ensure you are familiar with the Demolition Code of Practice, Demolition
WPHS Plans, Asbestos Safe Removal Code of Practise.
