**Date**:11 Sep 2024**Location**:Stapylton Qld, QLD, AU, 4207**Company**:Ventia- Ventia is seeking an experienced project coordinator to help support the Telecommunications Critical Infrastructure Team. In this role you will support the construction supervisors and project manager with the program of works in Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity and after an initial period will offer hybrid working conditions.**What’s on Offer**

**Responsibilities include**
- Proactively forecast and plan in accordance with the Program of Works in conjunction with the client’s expectation
- Ensuring project deadlines are met
- Ensure all materials are ordered/delivered in a timely manner to meet construction schedules
- Monitor construction execution and report delays and problems to the construction team
- Manage, review, and develop weekly and monthly progress reports
- Driving, administering, and implementing client focused initiatives and improvements
- Specialist support to internal stakeholders providing solution-based improvement initiates
- Actively manage and ensure project management systems, and scheduling are up to date
- Ensure that all staff and subcontractors are compliant in VisRes and other data bases
- Perform a minimum of 5 DBOR audits monthly

**Required Skills and Experience**
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate similar experience (preferably in a telecommunications environment), a can-do attitude, and the ability to take ownership of their role.- Demonstrated knowledge of cost, commercial management, and finance principles
- Proactively identify and resolve problems in conjunction with the Site team
- Significant planning and organizational skills
- Excellent skills across Microsoft's suite of products, particularly Excel
- Experience in SAP and/or Ariba is highly regarded
- Sound communication and collaboration skills
