The Civilmart group of companies is an Australian owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, and the plumbing and drainage market. We now have 22 sites spread across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Technical Support (Special Projects) - Design & Manufacturing
- Customer Technical Support
- In-House Design - Product and Mould
- Drawing Control - Submittal through to Shop
- Plant Efficiency - Layout & Processes
- The capacity to build strong and effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- The ability to communicate and implement plans and strategies that are developed for the Branch.
- Effective work scheduling
- Establishing clear lines of communication and efficient work practices
- Monitoring individuals and group performance levels and providing instruction and training
- Supervise efficient and cost-effective dispatch of finished goods.
- Ensure completed production runs are entered in the inventory in a timely manner
- Providing reports and information supporting the performance of Sections and the Branch as a whole
- Monitor production scheduling with a view to meeting/exceeding delivery timing for Special Orders

**Role Requirements**:

- Specific knowledge or experience of civil precast concrete products is highly desirable
- Excellent safety record and knowledge of operational OH&S standards and procedures is essential
- Understanding of Quality Standards and processes in a production setting
- Experience working in a management position implementing strategic and operational plans
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or Trades in Concreting, Carpentry/Building and Construction or equivalent practical working experience in a similar environment will be ideal
- Must have good computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Experience leading and mentoring a team is preferred
- Ability to review and approve production drawings
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff, Production, Management external contacts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
