We are looking for an E-Bike Wheel Technician to join our team and help maintain our fleet of shared electric vehicles. This is primarily a wheel-building position, ideal for someone with previous experience who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and ensuring vehicles are safe and operational.

Start date ASAP

Hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (subject to change)

Pay $32.31 per hour plus super

What you'll do

  • Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles, including inspecting, and maintaining wheels
  • Perform a variety of repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic parts replacement, with a focus on wheel building and repair
  • Work both in-field and in the warehouse as required, including assembling, repairing, and replacing wheels
  • Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
  • Maximise the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing assigned tasks, prioritising wheel maintenance where needed
  • Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles related to wheels and overall vehicle functionality
  • Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart regularly

What we're looking for

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in wheel-building or as a mechanic in automotive, bike, or transportation industries
  • Ability to lift up to 30 kilograms regularly
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and app-based workflows (iOS experience preferred)
  • Good communicator who can read and follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
