About the Role:

Due to continual growth Australian Refrigeration Service currently have a position for a full time air conditioning technician with a minimum 3 years' experience in commercial & industrial air conditioning systems to join their team in Sydney.

This role will be looking after a number of Industrial sites, completing preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and quoting any work generated on your sites.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced technician as you will have the freedom to manage and take ownership of your sites with the support of the service manager and account manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective solutions for breakdowns, diagnose and repair faults with all HVAC equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Utilise TSM software to provide job notes at time of closing off and completing jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with new and established clients
  • Contribute to the day to day operation and maintenance of the sites, carrying out asset inspections as part of the scheduled maintenance job plan.
  • Expand your knowledge with commercial & industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Applicants must have:

  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Certificate
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Refrigerant Handling License, White Card, etc
  • Experience in commercial or industrial HVAC systems
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Can work well individually & in a team environment
  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to pass medical examination
  • Can understand and work to all OHS & safety requirements
  • Available to work overtime and on call roster.
  • Australian residency/citizenship
