Are you a Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) expert ready to step into a purpose-driven role? We're looking for someone who lives and breathes WH&S — someone who wants to be part of a team that puts wellbeing and safety at the heart of how we work.
In this newly created, you'll join our People and Culture team as a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist, with the added opportunity to contribute to risk and compliance initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Championing Workplace Health & Safety
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping how safety and wellbeing are embedded across the business.
- Keep our safety policies sharp, current, and fully aligned with all federal and state regulations, your work ensures we stay compliant and confident.
- Lead meaningful, people-first initiatives that don't just meet safety standards — they actively enhance the health, wellbeing, and day-to-day experience of our teams.
- Own incident reporting and investigations, and confidently connect with regulators when needed.
- Lead Workcover claims and return-to-work journeys with care and clarity.
- Drive proactive solutions that enhance ergonomics and support psychological safety.
- Design training and resources that inspire a culture of safety and accountability.
Adding Value Through Risk & Compliance
- Support people-related risk management and compliance efforts.
- Assist with risk prevention strategies, especially around psychosocial hazards.
- Contribute to policy and process development that supports a safe workplace.
What You Bring
You have solid experience in workplace health and safety, ideally within a corporate environment or in a consulting capacity. You're confident liaising with regulators and supporting leaders on WH&S matters across the business. You're someone who takes a proactive approach — not just responding to issues, but driving initiatives that make the workplace safer and more supportive. You've worked on policies, incident reporting, and safety training, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where your insights can make a real impact.
Don't meet every single requirement? That's okay.
If you bring strong experience in Workplace Health and Safety but haven't covered all aspects of the risk or compliance side, we'd still love to hear from you.
