Workplace Health and Safety Specialist

The Workplace Health and Safety Specialist will promote wellbeing, health, and safety across the business handling their own portfolio of sites based in Victoria. This is a highly autonomous role travelling between the office and their Victorian sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement within the organisation.
- Work with leaders in the business to undertake investigations to establish root cause, along with preventative and corrective actions.
- Provide advice and support to ensure solutions are in line with legislation, standards, codes of practice, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement projects, activities, and training focused on holistic wellbeing and safety culture.
- Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a relevant discipline with three years relevant working experience.
- Demonstrated experience with developing, implementing, and monitoring WHS policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence, lead, coach, and develop others.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, and have ability to multi-task and switch focus to prioritise tasks as required.
