Workplace Health and Safety Professional

About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Workplace Health and Safety Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing contractor relationships, overseeing occupational health and safety reporting, conducting audits, maintaining injury registers, and implementing workplace health and safety systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure contractors adhere to our organizational health and safety standards.
- Oversight of Occupational Health and Safety Reporting: Monitor and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining Injury Register: Record and report all workplace injuries to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.
- Reporting: Provide timely and effective reporting on health and safety matters to stakeholders.
- Workplace Health and Safety Systems and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall health and safety performance.
Requirements:
- Certificate 4 in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
