About Our Opportunity

Casual part-time employment opportunity available to support a client's safety culture and continuous improvement of safety performance and compliance.

About The Role

Working 2-3 days per week on day shift, you will:

  • Advise and assist in the development of organisational policies related to workplace health and safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and perform workplace inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Assist with incident investigations where required, including data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with the HR & Compliance manager to develop, facilitate and deliver training programs for workplace health and safety
  • Provide support in efforts to eliminate or minimise workplace hazards
  • Schedule and record minutes for health and safety meetings
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the health and safety function
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A recognised qualification in workplace health and safety (advantageous but not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • A strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • The ability to work as a team player and autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
