About you

You will demonstrate experience working in a similar role. You will be professionally qualified or working towards (CA/CPA) ideally with experience in professional services. This opportunity combines an interesting blend of technical accounting and management reporting. We require exceptional excel modelling skills together with the ability to scope, manage and implement key finance function projects. A sound understanding of systems and processes will see the successful candidate confidently make recommendations for improvements within the Finance Team.

Your role

In assisting the broader Finance Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Core finance function compliance disciplines, including internal & external regulatory reporting requirements (Australian Taxation legislation, Accounting Standards and Law Institute as well as state based legislative requirements).
  • Management of the monthly reporting programme including but not limited to compilation of monthly variance, financial reports, BAS, FBT, month end closing and balance sheet reconciliation to senior management and ongoing development of the reporting suite covering performance analysis. Liaising with internal stakeholders, providing accurate accounting/financial advice and/or reporting.
  • KPI reporting and preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Productivity analysis reporting.
  • General ledger and data integrity maintenance.
