An opportunity has become available for an Accountant to join Pinnacle Investment Management in a 2-month temporary position. This position is based in Brisbane CBD.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting with the full accounts process for the business. This role will allow you to perform payroll and the full accounts payable and accounts receivable process including invoice processing, reporting, reconciliations, month-end processes, and ad hoc finance support.

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and can hit the ground running with a range of key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling and preparing month-end accounts
  • Assistance with payroll function for the group including superannuation, tax and reporting
  • Preparation and submission of BAS, PAYG etc.
  • Ad hoc projects and business support, as required

About You:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Xero and ability to learn new systems and processes with ease
  • Ability to problem solve and show initiative
  • Effective and adaptive interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to recognise inconsistencies and make adjustments.
