Driving Innovation. Deepening Support. Strengthening the Veterinary Industry.
At IDEXX, innovation that is valued by customers is at the heart of everything we do. We deliver diagnostic and software advancements that help veterinary professionals raise the standard of care. We enable our customers to turn this innovation into impact, and their success drives ours.
As we continue to deliver meaningful solutions for veterinary practices, we are expanding our team to deepen the support we provide and help clinics harness these tools to deliver even better patient outcomes. Join us in shaping the future of veterinary care, supporting clinics, improving patient outcomes, and helping our industry thrive.
If you have a proven track record in sales within the animal health, diagnostic, medical, or veterinary industries, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Join a passionate, forward-thinking team that's dedicated to partnering with veterinary professionals to enhance patient outcomes and elevate standards of care. As an Account Manager you'll work closely with our veterinary clients, delivering innovative solutions—from advanced in-house diagnostic instruments to comprehensive pathology laboratory services to ground-breaking veterinary software —that truly make a difference in the way they care for our pets.
What you can expect
As an Account Manager, ideally based in Wollongong, you will manage and grow your clients' accounts across the NSW South Coast, as well as a regional territory with a clear understanding of their veterinary business and diagnostic needs; you will successfully inspire them to adopt and use "The IDEXX Complete Diagnostic Solution" to raise their standards of care.
You will be results oriented, have an outstanding level of customer service and responsiveness and you will have a genuine passion to deliver outstanding results.
There is significant variety in the role, and you will find no two days the same.
You will be developing partnerships with veterinarians, owners and clinic teams to help grow their business; selling IDEXX products and services and helping to onboard and train the veterinary teams on IDEXX diagnostic equipment, services and technology.
This focus will enable you to exceed your sales targets for the quarter and discover new opportunities.
Working alongside your colleagues you will collaborate and implement new strategies for the benefit of your customers; attend relevant trade shows, attend and deliver IDEXX educational content and maintain and update client information using
The role will include overnight travel to your regional territory
What You'll Bring to the Role:
A strong foundation in both sales and technical expertise, with the confidence to engage in solution-based conversations.
Experience in the veterinary industry is a plus, but not essential—we value passion and a willingness to learn.
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
A commitment to exceptional customer service, with a responsive and solutions-focused approach.
Excellent organisational and territory management skills, or the drive to develop them.
Outstanding communication abilities, with the capacity to understand and convey complex technical information clearly.
Natural relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
Experience in diagnostic or capital equipment sales is highly regarded.
Above all, a genuine desire to make a difference in animal health and contribute to a purpose-driven team.
What can we offer?
Attractive compensation, incentives, and benefits
Investment in professional development and career growth
Be rewarded and reward others through our Reward and Recognition Programs
