Warehouse Team Leader

Our client specialises in software and diagnostic products within the veterinary healthcare market. We are looking for someone who is hands on, and preferably who has worked in a similar supervisory role. You will be the first point of contact for general operations and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently on a day to day basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day to day operations of the warehouse and team
- Check and oversee incoming and outgoing goods
- Daily use of SAP
- Communicate effectively with all departments
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide feedback as needed
- Liase with domestic and international freight companies
- Managing inventory and executing frequent stock takes
- Actively engage in continuous improvement
- Assist with staff training and upskilling

**Essential Criteria**:

- 5+ years warehousing experience in general stores, dispatch, receiving and administration
- Previous experience supervising a team or similar preferred (team leader, 2IC etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills
- SAP experience required - troubleshooting skills highly advantageous
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- High level of accuracy
- Fit to perform manual handling
- Drivers licence and own transport
- Full working rights in Australia

**Desirable**:

- IATA and dangerous goods knowledge desirable
- A current forklift license will be an advantage
- Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory management control, international shipping and transportation knowledge preferred
- Industry background in pharmaceuticals, healthcare technology or medical products highly regarded

**Location**: Rydalmere NSW 2116

**Hours of work**: Day shift 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
