About the role

We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team at Pool Tek' in Carindale, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for our clients. This is a hands-on position that will allow you to utilise your technical expertise to deliver a high-quality service.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, testing and adjusting chemical levels, and cleaning filters
  • Identify and diagnose issues with pool equipment and machinery, and carry out necessary repairs
  • Experience with comprehensive pool equipment repair including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automated systems is required
  • Installation of Pool Equipment
  • Advise clients on appropriate pool care and maintenance, and recommend products or services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all service visits and work completed
  • Ensure work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Service Technician, with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of swimming pool systems, equipment, and water chemistry
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Good communication skills to liaise with clients and provide clear recommendations
  • A valid manual driver's licence
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Australian permanent resident or citizen status is required for this position
