Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Mr Pool Man Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. Experience in the swimming pool industry is preferred but not essential, we are looking for someone who is mechanically-minded and has problem solving abilities. A basic understanding of pool equipment and water chemistry is an advantage. All training will be provided, this position would suit a young person looking for a long-term career, but all serious applications are welcome. Wage to be negotiated based on applicant's experience.

You must excel at customer service, team focused, highly organised, and enjoy working outdoors.

Candidates must;

  • Be able to work independently without supervision and work well within a team.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with new and existing customers.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Take pride in their work and have attention to detail.
  • Ability to show great initiative and to be proactive.
  • Have great time management skills.
  • Hold a current, valid driver's licence with clean driving record
  • Be physically fit and able to lift equipment up to 25kg
  • Have the legal right to work in Australia

Key responsibilities include;

  • General pool maintenance including but not limited to pool cleaning, chemical testing & equipment checks.
  • Problem solving & Identifying opportunities.
  • Installation & programming of new pool equipment including: pumps, filters, chlorinators, heaters, automation systems, robotic pool cleaners

Remuneration package includes:

  • Fully maintained company vehicle with fuel card
  • Mobile phone
  • Tools of the trade

Salary to be negotiated based on experience.
