We're a not-for-profit aged care provider with two welcoming homes in South Melbourne – Emerald Hill and South Port – where residents, families, and staff are part of a caring community.

We're looking for a warm, professional, and reliable Weekend Receptionist to welcome visitors, support residents, and keep communication flowing on weekends.

What you'll be doing

As the first point of contact on weekends and public holidays, you'll provide friendly front-of-house service and general administrative support — helping ensure each visitor's experience is safe, efficient, and welcoming.

Your day could include:

  • Greeting residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing visitor sign-ins and ensuring infection control procedures are followed
  • Answering calls and emails, directing queries to the right staff
  • Assisting residents with small admin needs (e.g. phone or video calls)
  • Keeping accurate visitor and communication logs for weekday handover
  • Monitoring entry points and promptly reporting any safety or maintenance concerns

You'll stay based at reception for the duration of your shift, working closely with the Nurse in Charge and Reception Team Leader to ensure seamless weekend operations.
