Optical Receptionist

**About the role**

Exciting part-time opportunity for an Optical Receptionist/Sales Assistant to join the team at David Leong Optometrist in Vermont South, VIC. As a key member of the optical practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the optometrists in delivering quality eye care to our growing patient base.

**What you'll be doing**
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage patient bookings and enquiries, both in person and over the phone
- Process payments and handle cash/EFTPOS/health insurance transactions
- Assist patients in selecting and purchasing eyewear, frames and contact lenses
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception and retail area
- Provide general administrative support to the optometrists

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the optical or healthcare industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- A passion for health and wellness, and an interest in the optical industry
- Availability to work part-time hours, including some Saturdays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
