**Job Description**:
Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is looking for a professional Night Receptionist to join the Front Office team. As a Receptionist, are responsible for providing professional and personalised service to all hotel guests, visitors, and ambassadors, while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. You are able to demonstrate an excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, proven experience within a quality establishment, and above all else, you pride yourself on ability to exceed both the guest expectations and hotel standards. As a Night Receptionist you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel’s operations during late evenings and overnight.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and promotions
- Completing check in and check out procedures efficiently and courteously as per hotel standards
- Monitoring group arrivals and communicating with the housekeeping and driveway teams
- Updating guest profiles and maintaining guest accounts accurately
- Providing personalised service to all guests and visitors
- Assisting guests with service requests and queries in a timely manner
- Liaising with Housekeeping to ensure that all rooms are ready at the required times
- Achieve Loyalty Recruitment and Satisfaction KPI’s
- Cashiering and balancing of tills, maintaining cash security
- Implementing the hotel standard of service requirements
- Communicating with a diverse range of people in a professional manner

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in the role, you possess:

- A minimum 6 months experience in a luxury hotel environment
- Be highly organised and able to effectively manage priorities
- Project a professional image at all times through personal presentation/interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and versatility in responding to guest requests and situations
- Remain calm and effective in high volume work situations
- Opera PMS experience is beneficial
- Flexibility to work evening shifts 11pm - 7am, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
