About the role
The National Hotel is seeking a talented Functions & Events Booking Coordinator to join our team in Fremantle, WA. This full-time role will be responsible for managing and coordinating all functions and events bookings for our renowned hotel and event spaces.
What you'll be doing
- Responding to and processing all incoming functions and events enquiries and bookings
- Liaising with clients to understand their event requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Preparing event proposals, contracts and invoices
- Coordinating event logistics, including catering, staffing and venue set-up
- Maintaining our events calendar and database to ensure seamless event delivery
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients
- Supporting the wider Functions & Events team as needed
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a similar functions and events coordination role, ideally within the hospitality industry
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to liaise with clients
- Familiarity with event planning software and CRM systems
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
- Must be able to work weekends
