This Melbourne-based Project Management Consultancy has a
very strong pipeline of projects
across multiple sectors and is entering a period of sustained growth. With long-standing client relationships built by highly regarded directors, the business is delivering an impressive portfolio spanning Industrial, Infrastructure, Commercial, Education, Retail, Student Accommodation, Healthcare, Civic, Sports & Recreation, Data Centres, and Aviation.
If you're an ambitious Project Manager or Project Engineer (electrical background is ideal) and looking to play a key role in the next chapter of a growing consultancy, this is the perfect opportunity.
About The Role
You'll step into a leadership-focused position, taking projects from concept through to delivery while working closely with directors and collaborating with a high-performing team. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects, giving you the chance to broaden your expertise and enjoy variety day to day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Manage project teams and coordinate resources effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor and manage budgets, financials, and reporting.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage variations and project changes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team culture.
About You
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management (engineering background highly regarded).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communicator with polished interpersonal skills.
- Financially savvy with experience managing project budgets.
- Strong understanding of the Victorian construction industry and building codes.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
