Senior Project Manager - Land Development
Client-Side & Design Management Focus
We're partnering with a leading land development consultancy specialising in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and project management across metropolitan Melbourne. They're recognised for delivering premium outcomes for developers and councils across large-scale greenfield and subdivision projects.

As their Melbourne office continues to expand, they're now seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to take ownership of key client relationships and manage the delivery of high-profile development projects from early design through construction.

The Role
You'll operate in a hands-on, client-facing role that combines project management with design oversight — working across feasibility, design coordination, authority liaison, procurement, and delivery. Acting as a
hybrid Design Manager
, you won't be producing designs yourself, but you'll be reviewing, understanding, and challenging consultant outputs to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with client objectives.

You'll manage projects end-to-end, providing technical and commercial guidance while ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met. This is a role suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, takes ownership, and values polished communication and responsive service.

About You

  • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with 10+ years' experience in civil infrastructure and land development.
  • Proven background in design and construction project management.
  • Strong technical capability - confident reviewing and challenging engineering plans.
  • Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly and manages key client relationships effectively.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Enjoys a mix of office, client, and site-based work - representing the business professionally at every stage.
