The primary role is to provide technical support to all staff in the organization for a diverse range of systems and applications with confidentiality, discretion and integrity at all times.  Administer, maintain, and implement IT systems to meet immediate and long-term business objectives.

You will be reporting to the IT Manager, and your key responsibilities will entail the following not limited to,

  • Respond to helpdesk enquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Patching and compliance requirements to achieve global IT KPI's.
  • Providing technical support for IT hardware, networking, software, and associated systems.
  • Administration of Microsoft Server environment, Microsoft 365, Local and Wide-area networks, Firewall, and Internet services.
  • Configuration, deployment and maintenance of desktop SOE.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of IT systems to ensure high availability.
  • Assist with testing, implementation and training on new technologies and systems.
  • Ensure system security is managed to prevent data loss or theft, taking a proactive approach to avoid disruption to business due to malicious activity.
  • Report data security concerns, data breeches and rectification of security issues.
  • Creation and maintenance of procedures, instructions, and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and personnel information at all times.
  • New computer configuration and user setup.
  • General housekeeping and organization e.g.  storage, disposal, maintain inventory.
  • Support for our overseas offices – may require some flexibility in working hours.
  • Identify and act on issues affecting the implementation of OHS, EEO principles, and ethical practices.
  • Configure, monitor and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity systems.

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • Flexible with work hours when required.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in system administration of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Veeam, Hyper-V, Azure, Active Directory, enterprise grade firewalls and networking.
  • Strong hands-on aptitude for resolving complex computer hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Proven ability to plan, research and implement system improvements.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent work experience.
